Yay for Iowa and Vermont!

Vermont legislates gay marriage! Iowa courts decide against discrimination! Yay!

On the topic of 'gay marriage', I still think that all legal (state/federal) documents should change the word 'marriage' to 'civil union'.

But if the "religious people" want to keep their "religious word" (which naturally draws in peoples' religious beliefs), then I support Vermont's change - hopefully everyone will see it's a legal (and civil rights) issue, not a religious one.

Fat chance, eh?

A Casual Friday

After reading this NYTimes article on men wearing shorts to the office, I decided it would be fine for me to do it at my office. This is what I picked out:

Surprisingly, most people enjoyed it; I saw it through all their laughter.

It was awesome. Unfortunately, no one sent me home. Oh well.

It wasn't the fact that Paris got sent back to jail, but the fact that it showed up on NYTimes.com. Right smack in the middle of the front page. And of her crying!
