The NY Daily News prints a follow up story about the 'standing' ticket debacle and media circus. We were 'let off the hook shortly after Mayor Bloomberg scoffed at the silly summonses'.
"Even if I went to court, I expected the judge to throw it out and be like, 'What the hell is this?'" [Jason] said.I'd still like that apology though.
Stay tuned for more of my thoughts! (and if you have any questions, kindly drop them in the comments section.)

Instant fame! And it'd didn't cost you the price of a good publicist. Just the stupidity of moronic park cops with over-inflated egos.
What douche bags. The cop was obviously some loser who had a bad day and wanted to take it out on other people. Now I'm going to pass out- long day site seeing. My feet have corns : (
THe park cop is a moron. period.
You are SO popular now. Can I be your bestest friend?
Moron cops with attitude. Gotta love 'em.
I would definitely demand an apology!
It helps that your cute to boot! Now that your famous, what and who are you going to take on next?
From the closet to a fierce gay hellraiser in a matter of just a few months. Impressive! So...what did your family have to say about all this?
Wow, I've done most of complaining to different authorities semi-anonymously with just a letter. But now you've given me inspiration to take my stories to the media
Now it's time to take on those "No Dumping" signs posted near Port-A-Potties. Are you up to the challenge?
:-))
To think about it, had Byrne and I stuck around, all 4 of us could have been famous....oh well, lets leave the activism work for another day...

I read today about the guys on the tour bus who got handcuffed and searched because the driver said they looked "suspicious" and had "backpacks". Afterwards the police said that the guys didn't have backpacks. I hope those guys sue.
