Weekend and Thanksgiving Week

Love and Pride Display Case

After volunteer tutoring this past Saturday, I went to volunteer again for Out of Bounds at the Gay Life Expo.  Kimberly Locke did her 7 days and 7 nights song.  She was looking fine, but her hair was all done up wrong in braids.  C'mon girl, stop the madness.  Get your hair did right.

JPG (that's Jean Paul Gaultier) was there promoting their men's skin care line; or as a friend put it, 'repackaged women's makeup'.  But I thought to myself if Greg Giraldo was brave enough to get a make-over, so was I.  Pictures coming soon.

The rest of the weekend was nice, including a dinner at the all-you-can-eat Japanese buffet, Minado, but didn't include me seeing the new Harry Potter.  I just can't stand being a statistic.

Me and my EntourageSeems like a few people have decided to hibernate for a while.  They must have seen the calendar because it sure ain't the weather telling them.  What I mean is: We're in the middle of November and it's still 50 degrees (fahrenheit) over here!  I wonder if global warming has anything to do with it... and if migrating animals have decided wait until the busiest time of the year to travel, Thanksgiving.

I'll be spending Thursday trekking the whole 8 miles into Queens to be with family, and possibly spending Black Friday (or is it Green?) putting into practice my 'belly-dancer hip bump', 'rhino shoulder smash', and 'crouching-tiger sweep kick' as I make my way through the throngs of other shoppers trying to get presents for myself.  I wish you all luck; especially if you come between me and anything 70-80% off retail price.

But in case I don't see ya, Happy Thanksgiving!

I have the same habit of shopping for myself during the holidays. Ask me if I ever feel guilty. (OK, I used to. Sometimes.) Happy Thanksgiving, Jase!

Yeah - its been in the 80's here. I mean I know it's San Diego, but that's a little high - even for us. Oh well, just means my tan will be that much better for the holidays! BTW - During black Friday's shopping, I have found that the Go Go Boots not only support the feet but also give you the extra traction on the different floors found in today's modern malls. ;-)

Greg Giraldo is a whacky Cutie!! *i'd do him*

But anyway, too that you volunteered at the EXPO. Hope you had fun :)

My previous experience was okay. felt the entire convention was way too commercialized....

So... Tell me more about the JPG skincare line... Hrm, are there any anti-wrinkle facial cream and tummy firming serums?

You look plastic with the make-up on. Like a gaysian Barbie doll.

You're still pretty, it's hard to fuck up a face like yours, I'm just saying...

Plastic.
