Still moving into my new place, but at least I got the internet connection going. I'll be back soon with screen captures of my television debut (maybe even a video)!
I'll have to buy a computer desk before my roommate starts sweeping my stuff off the dinner table. That wouldn't be good since I just bought this awesome new 17" flat screen.
In the meantime, let me tell you how butch I am: While building my Ikea-bought bed, the beam slipped from my hand and landed on my toe.
I know. Ouch. Tell me about it.
But I didn't scream. Or yell. Or let out a string of profanities that would make Andrew Dice Clay blush. All I did was grit my teeth and mumble 'dammit'.
The butch part? The fact I was building my own bed!

Oh my god. That looks so painful. But I'm impressed with your feet. You really keep your toes neat!
that is pretty butch.
i guess.
yeah.
Building your own bed . . . butch.
Assembling your own bed which you bought at Ikea . . . not so much.
But your reaction when you hurt your toe was butch.
Wait till your toe nail goes all black after. Just so you know, if that does happen,it takes about 2-4 years to completely heal, but the nail will be all warped and bumpy. Trust me, it has happened to me.
Holy Crap! That's the exact same monitor I just got, too. Love it. Oh yeah, hope the foot gets better.
Something like that happened to me in college. It took about 6 months to get my toe normal again.
OK! Must you show us the sore toe?? JUST KIDDING! You assembled an Ikea bed?! UH! Jealous much! I had to pay someone to assemble something that big for me.
Hope the toe is ok now.
Please tell me that you were wearing shoes while assembling the bed. Not sneakers, not mandals, not flip flops.
Pain is one of the best ways to remember construction safety. I remember when I almost chopped off my thumb with my chainsaw.
you shoulda told me you're looking for an LCD panel. i've been trying to sell my 17 NEC one. love it. but got a laptop...so no more need.
oh and my toe bruise from the pier dance....it's still bruised. the nail hasn't finished growing out yet. i'm giving it 3 months.
is your toe any better? cute toe hairs. :)
and it does take a long time to heal.
